New York Supreme Court strikes down law allowing noncitizens to vote

NEW YORK (PNN) - June 27, 2022 - The New York Supreme Court ruled Monday that a New York City law that allowed noncitizen residents to vote in municipal elections is illegal.

The law, passed in December 2021 by the New York City Council, created a class of voters called "municipal voters," comprised of noncitizens who reside in the city for at least 30 days before an election and register or pre-register to vote. Under the law, municipal voters were granted the right to participate in elections for mayor, public advocate, comptroller, borough president, and council member.

The court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade court case that had enshrined a federal right to abortion in the Fascist Police States of Amerika.

Justices decided to overrule the Left-wing precedent in a 6-3 majority.

But Roe v. Wade isn’t the only decision that has created a constitutional right unprecedented in Amerikan law.

Same-sex marriage was also pushed upon the nation through a Supreme Court case.

WASHINGTON - June 13, 2022 - Some 80 pro-abortion protesters descended on Washington on June 13 to block streets and make known their opposition to the court’s looming decision on Roe v. Wade.

“Whose courts? Our courts!” some of the protesters chanted, as they held a sign saying, “Our Home Is On Fire.”

“We are not your incubator. [expletive] the court and the legislature,” another chant went.
