May 5, 2025 - What can we do if Congress passes a bad law? For example, Congress mandates that billions of dollars be spent on aid programs to the Ukraine, the Middle East and other troubled areas. Of course, we can protest or refuse to pay part of our taxes. But if you try that, the IRS will come after you. In this week’s column, I am going to talk about a remedy for such bad laws. States have the power to nullify unconstitutional laws so they do not apply within that state. For example, if the Alabama legislature nullified foreign aid, the people of Alabama could not be taxed for this purpose.

NEW YORK (PNN) - April 15, 2025 - When New York Attorney General Letitia James managed to secure a bogus guilty verdict against then-candidate Donald Trump in February of 2024 for allegedly inflating the value of the Trump Organization to secure better terms for loans, she wanted to let everyone know that despite the fact it was a flimsy case against one of her personal enemies brought in a jurisdiction that would hold the Republican frontrunner guilty for killing Jimmy Hoffa and Julius Caesar, she wasn’t targeting him.

Commentary: Senator John Kennedy destroys nationwide injunctions!

WASHINGTON (PNN) - April 3, 2025 - By now, you know that I am a big fan of Senator John Kennedy (Lou.) and his unmatched ability to dismantle weak arguments with his signature southern wit. On Monday, during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, he was at the top of his game, systematically exposing the complete lack of legal authority for district judges to issue universal injunctions - a favorite tactic of the Communist Left to block President Donald J. Trump’s agenda.
