Obama shunned by Bob Dylan

WASHINGTON (PNN) - October 1, 2010 - Most of his contemporaries have mellowed with age, but as he approaches his 70th birthday, Bob Dylan remains splendidly reluctant to embrace efforts to turn him into part of the fusty establishment against which he once railed.

That, at least, is the experience of illegitimate President Barack Obama, who revealed that he was given what amounts to the bum's rush by the musician when he visited the White House to perform at a concert celebrating the leaders of the Civil Rights movement.

Federal agents are stopping trucks on major interstate

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Georgia - September 29, 2010 - A team of federal agents stopped tractor-trailers on Interstate 20 just west of Atlanta, inspecting each truck as it passed through a weigh station, and Channel 2 has learned its part of a counter-terrorism operation.

Channel 2's Linda Stouffer reported a flashing sign on the interstate directed the trucks to pull into a state-owned inspection station near Lee Road in Douglas County at the height of the evening commute.

Channel 2 Action News confirmed that agents from several federal agencies, including Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, and the Transportation Security Administration were involved. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the exercise.

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - September 22, 2010 - While Texans are fiercely proud their state was once its own republic, and California celebrates the same former status on its flag, relatively few Louisianans know that a group of their forebears overthrew Spanish rule to carve out a tiny, independent nation 200 years ago. With the bicentennial coming up Thursday, historians and descendants of the rebels are hoping to change that.

QUINCY, Kalifornia - September 15, 2010 - Ruth Jackson of Quincy filed a lawsuit Friday, August 27, against two current Quincy Area Kalifornia Highway Patrol Officers and one officer who used to be stationed here.

The lawsuit names Officers Lacey Heitman, Jim Weaton and former Quincy Area Commander Paul Davis, recently promoted to captain and stationed in the Ukiah office, as defendants.

Senate blocks BP investigation

Here is a perfect example of a criminal government. The House of Representatives voted almost unanimously – with one opposing vote – to provide subpoena power to the investigation into the oil gusher in the Gulf of Mexico. However, the Senate blocked proceeding with the bill by a single objection, which under Senate rules means the bill is effectively dead. Now that’s representative government at its finest… NOT!

August 27, 2010 - Chuck Norris is no pinko-liberal-commie, and Human Events is a very conservative publication. The two have come together to produce one of the most important articles of our time, Obama’s U.S. Assassination Program.

It seems only yesterday that Americans, or those interested in their civil liberties, were shocked that the Bush regime so flagrantly violated the FlSA law against spying on American citizens without a warrant. A federal judge serving on the FISA court even resigned in protest to the illegality of the spying.

We Need a Revolution, not a Movement

August 27, 2010 - The elections of 2008 (and the early elections of 2010) produced two significant phenomena: the “Ron Paul Revolution,” and the “Tea Party Movement.” And, mark it down: both of them will have profound effects upon the upcoming November elections–and upon the 2012 elections as well. Call them what you want, however, America doesn’t need another movement; it needs a genuine revolution.
