Quarter of a million rally in France against new COVID restrictions

PARIS, France (PNN) - August 7, 2021 - Almost a quarter of a million people took to the streets across France on Saturday for the biggest protests yet against a coronavirus health pass needed to enter a cafe or travel on an inter-city train, two days before the new rules come into force.

August 4, 2021 - Resist. They can’t arrest us all. They can’t keep all your children home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed - although I’ve got a long list of ones they should.

We don’t have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and feckless bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again.

PARIS, France (PNN) - August 1, 2021 - Hundreds of thousands of people across several countries, including France, the Fascist United Kingdom, and Israel, have demonstrated against new anti-COVID restrictions, with the majority of the protests held in the Paris metropolitan area.

In Paris and other French cities, more than 200,000 protesters flooded streets on Saturday, outraged about COVID-19 health passes. The passports were instituted by tyrannical politicians who seek to dictate their whims to the general population.

July 31, 2021 - The most cheerful headline I have seen in weeks was on Glenn Reynolds’ New York Post column: No, Karen, we’re not masking again. I hope he is right. I do wonder, though. I have no doubt that the second part of his headline - A winning GOP message for 2022 [and] beyond - is correct. At least it’s correct if it is expressed as a conditional: It would be a winning strategy were it adopted. As Reynolds notes, “There is a great deal of pent-up frustration and resentment over the inconvenience, the loss of freedom, and the general climate of hectoring that the government’s pandemic response has created.”

More than 5,000 protesters, some of them waving Greek flags and wooden crosses, rallied in Athens for the third weekend in a row to oppose Greece’s coronavirus vaccinations program, which violates international law. Restaurant requires proof customers are not vaccinated

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Kalifornia (PNN) - July 27, 2021 - The owner of Basilico's Pasta e Vino spoke out against a backlash on Monday, after posting flyers outside his business and on social media requiring proof that customers are not vaccinated.

The flyers read, "Notice: Proof of being unvaccinated required. We have zero tolerance for treasonous, anti-Amerikan stupidity. Thank you for pondering."

Eric Clapton says he won't play at shows where COVID-19 vaccination proof is required

Irish ice hockey star resigns in protest over vaccine passports

DUBLIN, Ireland (PNN) - July 16, 2021 - Niall McEvoy is an ice hockey player who has represented Ireland for the past thirteen years. He was a key member of the squad that won the silver medal at the 2017 Development Cup in Andorra.

This morning, Niall emailed his teammates and the coaches of the Irish National Ice Hockey team to tender his resignation. In the emotional email, Niall said that he “can no longer represent a country that has approved of the discrimination and segregation between vaccinated people and unvaccinated people.”
